Cooperative Owned and Operated Parks – New Jersey (CO-OP NJ)

Promoting Resident Ownership of Manufactured Home Parks in New Jersey

Welcome to CO-OP NJ, an initiative dedicated to helping residents of New Jersey manufactured housing parks form resident owned communities.

Through the CO-OP NJ initiative, two nonprofits – Real Estate Advisory & Development Services, Inc. (READS) and Leviticus 25:23 Alternative Fund, Inc. – are working together to provide the training and capital needed for residents of manufactured home parks, more commonly known as mobile home parks, in New Jersey to purchase their parks and convert them to resident owned communities. This initiative also offers park owners a viable option of selling their parks at a fair price.

On this site, we have collected information, created specialized tools and other resources to help park residents and park owners learn more about the conversion of mobile home parks to resident owned communities.

We wish to recognize and thank the Corporation of Enterprise Development, Innovations in Manufactured Housing (CFED, I’M Home) for their support in making this initiative possible.
